Play:
The Break-Up over 27.5 million (-160) <3.2/2> WSEX
Easy winner last week. Originally, I had this as a one-unit play, but with the line moving in my favor, I decided to make it a two-unit. Typically, comedies do quite well on a given weekend, and with no real comedy out at the moment, this should do well. Also, Vince Vaughn is a big draw in comedies with all four of his recent movies going over 28 million on their opening weekends. However, most of his previous movies have had him team up with another popular comedy actor (Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Will Ferrell), so this will tell if he can carry a movie without another major star (Yes, I know Jennifer Aniston is in this film, but she has yet to carry a movie by herself and isn't a huge draw, although she will bring in the female demographic). However, I'm not nearly as confident in this one as I have been in all my past plays, so be cautious as this one will most likely be close.
